一、用来表示数目或数量的词叫基数词 。
1.1~12的基数词需要单独记忆
I: one 2: two 3: three 4: four 5: five 6: six 7: seven 8: eight 9: nine
10: ten 11: eleven 12: twelve
2.13-19的基数词以cen结尾 。
13: thirteen 14: fourteen 15: fifteen 16: sixteen 17: seventeen 18: eighteen
3.2099的基数词 ， 整十数都以ャ结尾

非整十数的基数词用“整十数十个位数”构成 ， 之间用连字符“”连接 。如:25:

二、用来表示顺序的词叫序数词
1.1-3的序数词需要单独记忆

2.4-19的序数词由“基数词 h”构成
第4: fourth第5:fmh第6: sixth第7: seventh
第8: eighth第9ninh第10.temh第11: eleventh

第12: twelfth第13: thirteenth第14: fourteenth第15: fifteenth
第16: sixteenth第17: seventeenth第18: eighteenth第19: nineteenth
数词3整十数的基数词变为序数词 ， 词尾y改为ア再 cth
第20: twentieth第30 thirtieth第40, fortieth第50: fiftieth
第60 sixtieth第70 seventieth第80. eightieth第90: ninetieth
4.非整十数两位数的基数词变序数词 ， 十位数用基数词不变 ， 个位数变序数词
之间加连字符“” 。如
第2: wenty-fir,第58: fifty-eighth第84: eighty- fourth
第99: ninety-ninth
5.整百数的序数词为整百基数词的 hundred后 h 。如:
第100: one hundred
第400 four hundredth
第800 eight hundredth第900: nine hundredth
三、数词的用法
1.表示年、月、日
(1)年代:表示“年”用基数词 ， 通常先读前面两位数 ， 再读后面两位数 。
如:1981读作: nineteen eighty-one; the seventies七十年代
(2)月份:介词in某月 。如: in October.在十月
(3)日期:前面要用定冠词the,“在某日”要用介词on 。

如: on the thirty-frst在三十ー日
(4)某年、某月、某日:某年某月用介词in,某年某月某日用介词on
如: in June2008读作: in June, two thousand and eight
on October I i/f: on October (the)first/on the first of October:
on December 26, 1982 w/: on December (the) twenty-sixth/on the twenty-sixth of
December, nineteen eighty-two
2.表示时刻
(1)整点:“钟点数 o' clock”来表示(o'lock常省略) 。如: twelve(o' clock)
十二点
(2)半点:用“钟点数thirty”或"alf past 钟点数”表示 。如: three thirty.
half past three三点半
(3)几点几分:①半小时内:“分钟数 past 钟点数”表示 。
如: half past three三点半
②超半小时:“分钟数 o 钟点数”表示
如: a quarter to five四点四十五分(差一刻五点)
3.表示编号
在表示有编号的事物时 ， 可用基数词 ， 也可用序数词 ， 但表现形式不同 。
第69页读作: page sixty-nine
18路公共汽车读作: Bus Number Eighteen
第56房间读作: Room five five six
第十六中学读作: the No.16 Middle School
五年级二班读作: Class Two, Grade Five
第四册
读作: Book Four或 the Fourth Book
第三课读作: Exercise Three t或 the Third Exercise
